I'm still alive...

Lunch is almost over, so I have to post quickly. I'll save the biking stats for later, but here's something that must be shared:

My apologies to musicians and Star Wars fans everywhere,
Brad

This may be a question your wife is better able to answer, but what exactly went wrong in that piece? To me it sounded like the trumpet was playing in a different key than the accompaniment. But it also seemed like she was flat on her highest note.

Since I don't play the trumpet, I don't know how one gets music out of it. Does it have distint notes (like the piano - you may be wrong but you are playing a real note), or is it more like the trombone (you can be so wrong you are not playing a note at all)?

Oh my, that was so awful I don't even know where to begin. That seemed to rival the world's worst orchestra. Although my favorite part was the little robot step she did about half way through. LOL!

As Liz said, I believe that your wife is the person to ask about such things, but I played the trumpet for a while and you can get different notes out of the trumpet with the same finger positions depending on how you blow into it. This actually reminds me a lot of how I used to play. I now feel very sorry for my instructor.
